A component not installed properly or a malfunctioning heating unit connected to the air-conditioner can emit carbon monoxide. A person may feel nauseous, have headaches, faint and in very severe cases, even die of CO poisoning. Moreover, air-conditioners can also help in spreading infections if maintenance is not done properly. Computer based work can also expose you to Extremely Low Frequency or ELF Electric and Magnetic Fields. Radiations that screens and other such devices produce can increase the chances of cancers, trigger development problems and depression. Your office may be a cocoon, but is safe though?
