This once pirate-infested country is the poorest nation in the world and virtually reduced to rubble by prolonged civil wars. However it seems to be returning to normal and the country is once again willing to welcome tourists. At the forefront of this effort is a travel agency called Travel Mogadishu that provides tourists with a guide, a driver and armed guards.
