Caucasian Ovcharka
A popular breed in Russia, they have been used to protect property, livestock and kill wolves. This large breed has a bad reputation when it comes to temper. They do not gel well with other dogs and specialized training is recommended as soon as the puppies turn 7 months old. However, they are highly prized as guardian dogs.
