7. Perro de Presa Canario
This Spanish breed standing 2 ft tall is an extremely aggressive looking canine used to guarding livestock. Obedience training is a requisite for this breed as it is suspicious of strangers and aggressive towards other breeds. it is also called the Dogo Canario because of its association to the Gran Canary, an island off the Atlantic coast of Northwest Africa which is part of Spain. Due to its muscular looks the Perro de Presa Canario was also used for dog-fighting.
