4. Doberman Pinschers
Developed by Karl Friedrich Louis Doberman in 1890 these iconic German breed are known world over for their ferocity as guard and police dogs. Although a domesticated breed in many homes world over, their aggression due to their size and strength could make them dangerous as pets. This medium-sized but lean dog is known for traits like fearlessness, energy, loyalty, alertness, obedience and above all intelligence.
