8. United Kingdom
Despite having lost most of its glory as once being the greatest colonial power, the United Kingdom is still a magnet for people from all corners of the earth. London, the financial capital of Europe, draws in visitors for its multi-racial culture, fashion and cuisine and not to speak of Buckingham Palace, the residence of the Queen. The rugged serenity of the Scottish Highlands, the meadows and mountains of Wales, and the tumultuous life of the Northern Ireland capital Belfast are all perfect draw for hordes of travellers from the world over. No wonder, as many as 39 million tourists thronged to the United Kingdom in 2017 and the numbers are simply growing.
