22. Ukraine
This is the largest country in Eastern Europe and is a global breadbasket, providing a huge amount of grains to a host of nations. Ukraine has historically important medieval cities like Kiev, Lviv and Odessa (which is the most important Black Sea port). The Saint Sophia’s Cathedral and Monastery of the Caves in Kiev and Bukovel, the ski and spa resort in the Carpathian mountains in Western Ukraine are among the major attractions. Of late, tourist traffic to Ukraine has been hit by the war with Russia.
