20. Netherlands
This European economic powerhouse is symbolized by its numerous windmills and the network of canals crisscrossing the country especially cities like Amsterdam and Utrecht. The international Court of Justice resides in The Hague and Rotterdam is one of Europe’s leading ports. Many tourists are drawn to the Netherlands for its liberal policies on a variety of social issues including abortion, same-sex marriage and soft drugs. Tourist arrival to the country has been growing by the millions each year with as many as 42.4 million coming in during 2017 itself.
