3. Diogenes Disorder
Diogenes Disorder is characterized by an utter sense of disregard for one’s own self. Symptoms include poor living conditions, hoarding of things or animals, behavior that can be considered antisocial and general apathy towards one’s own life. A severe lack of hygiene in the living condition has also been observed. This has been witnessed in senior citizens and is a precursor to a mental breakdown. This can also be a spiral of a life of self-denial and is not exactly a disorder as such.
