4. Stendhal Syndrome
Stendhal Syndrome is one where an individual has physical manifestations as a reaction to great pieces of art. People who suffer from this experience rapid heart rate, vertigo, hallucinations, nausea and even losing consciousness as a result of exposure to art. The first diagnosis of the syndrome took place in 1982, Italy. However, the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders does not recognize this condition.
