8. Banff Springs Hotel, Canada
Built in the nineteenth century, the grand railway hotel opened to public in June 1888. Set in a beautiful natural backdrop, the hotel is not just a temporary lodging for some, but is a permanent home for many. Among the list of ghostly guests, the Ghost Bride is the most popular one here. The story goes, a young bride in the late 1920’s, dressed in her gorgeous wedding grown was making her way through the steps, when she tripped and fell. The fall broke her neck and she passed away. The staff and the guest can sometimes see her dancing in the hall in honor of the first dance she never had.
