4. WiFi Kills Sperms
In 2002, a group of scientists from the Nascentis Medica Repoductiva conducted an interesting experiment with sperm samples and Wi-Fi. What they set out to study was the effect of Wi-Fi on the health of sperms. They placed two batches of sperm samples underneath two laptops for four hours. The control batch was under a laptop with the Wi-Fi off, while the other sample was under a Wi-Fi emitting laptop. At the end of the experiment they found out that thesamples of the control batch lost about 14% of their mobility. Whereas, the batch exposed to the Wi-Fi had lost more than 25% of their mobility. It is scary to acknowledge the extent of the damage sustained by the DNA in such a short experiment. Scarier is the fact that we are surrounded by the wireless wave wherever we go.
