14. Cusco, Peru
Once the capital of the Inca Empire, Cusco sits in the gorgeous setting of the Peruvian Andes. The ruins of the Sacsayhuamán area are a great example of the legacy of the Incas. The ancient sun temples and the Spanish influence of later times show a physical timeline of the changing cultural influences around the region. There is just so much rich culture to serenade yourself in.
