Sleep is among the most basic of all human requirements. Inadequate sleep can lead to a myriad of health issues including high blood pressure, fatigue and even diabetes. Insomnia is when a person has a hard time falling asleep even when they are exhausted. There can be a host of reasons as to why a person may suffer from insomnia, but, leading researchers have found that excessive exposure to gadgets with a screen is among the top causes. Exposure to the light emitted from the screens of computers and cellphones before bedtime hinders the sleep pattern, worsening sleeplessness. Limiting the use of cellphones and computers during the hours leading up to bedtime may help in falling asleep faster.
