8. Somalia
With just three Turkish Airlines connecting capital city Mogadishu, travelling to Somalia could be a challenge. Although the country has come a long way from the days of piracy and the situation vastly improved locating an embassy could be very difficult. Currency conversion is also a challenge considering as several versions of same currency are available in the market not to speak of the fake ones that abound. Clean drinking water will be hard for the tourists to find and can be consumed at the risk of falling ill. The Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden are two noteworthy sights for prospective travellers. The rock art is one of the attractions in Somalia.
